10 days to our first craft fair

We are going to Southampton for the fair on November 23 and are feeling excited but a bit nervous. You know, the old “will people like what I’ve made, will anyone buy anything” worries. It’s sort of like throwing your first party and wondering if anyone will show up!

I had my first sale through the website this evening and that was very cool!!

It is so lovely to think of people wearing my jewellery and enjoying it. The time I have spent squinting into the beads in my hand, twisting the copper wires into shapes, and weaving, stringing, and sewing beads into pieces of wearable art has been reinforced as time well spent!

Again, I feel the strings of beads pulling me back along the lines to every ancestor and I’m filled with gratitude for everything I enjoy in this moment.
